We are currently gathering additional volunteers and donations from AFS chapters nationwide to obtain items for the 2018 annual Skinner Memorial Raffle and Auction hosted in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We are requesting items such as airline tickets, hotel stays, restaurant meals, and outdoor activities (such as fishing trips, aquarium/museum tickets, etc.) to develop getaways for bidders to visit everyone’s local habitat. Additionally, donations of fisheries related artwork, jewelry and outdoor gear could spread your chapter’s local flavor throughout the national membership. Proceeds from the Skinner Raffle and Silent Auction aid financial assistance and awards for graduate and undergraduate students to attend future AFS meetings.
Please distribute this request for donations and volunteers from your chapter to those best able to obtain quality items and ideas for the auction table.
