Fishing in and around Tampa

The following marinas have boats that charge by the person (full or half-day trips - party boats) or by the boat (up to 6 passengers - charter boats). These are some of the closest locations with multiple trip options, but are not the only opportunities to participate in Florida fishing trips. There are also some local guides who trailer their boats and can pick anglers up at the convention center. To locate guides, check with the Florida Guides Association (FGA - an AFS meeting sponsor). Select “Search our Guide Directory” under “Find a Fishing Guide” on the FGA homepage and then select the local fishing area as W. Central. The closest cities are Clearwater, St Petersburg and Tampa Bay. Other nearby cities include Crystal River, Homosassa, and Sarasota.
